Roots & Early Inspirations
Hi, I’m Camille Codorniu — a wife, a mom of two amazing boys, a Bergen County, NJ native, and the founder of Camille Jewelry. I grew up with humble beginnings, raised by a hardworking single mother who taught me resilience and grit.
Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed of being a fashion designer — and that dream led me across the bridge into NYC, where I studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology and built a career that changed my life.
But life had other plans. An incredible opportunity in jewelry design fell into my lap, and the rest, as they say, is history. That unexpected turn led me into a world I would come to love deeply, ultimately shaping my journey as a designer and entrepreneur.
Luxury Design Experience
For over 20 years of design experience, I worked as a Luxury Jewelry Designer for some of the most recognized fashion houses, including Giorgio Armani, Michael Kors, and Fossil — as Head Jewelry Designer.
But after the birth of my second son, I made the tough (yet rewarding) decision to step away from my corporate role and be fully present with my family.
Still, the spark to create never left me.
Launching Camille Jewelry
In 2017, I took a leap of faith and launched Camille Jewelry, a brand rooted in meaningful jewelry that reflects both strength and softness — pieces made to layer, live in, and love.
My collections are inspired by the modern woman who craves everyday jewelry that’s elevated, expressive, and effortless. Whether it’s a fashion piece you wear on repeat or a gemstone ring tucked in your luxury jewelry box, my goal is to design pieces that feel personal and powerful.
Commitment to Local Craftsmanship
As someone who spent her career in the heart of NYC — studying, designing, and living my dream — I knew I wanted to keep our production local.
All of our jewelry is handcrafted by highly skilled jewelry craftsmen in New York City and most recently Philadelphia. I work closely with them to ensure each design, whether fashion, demi-fine, or fine jewelry, is made with intention, precision, and design integrity.

At Camille Jewelry, we don’t believe in rules when it comes to styling — modern jewelry fashions are about mixing high and low, stacking what you love, and wearing your story with pride.
